Our Managing Director Michael Rutherford takes an active role in the Cleaning Industry. He is a main Board Director of both the CSSA, the leading Industry Trade Association and Asset Skills the body set up to identify and provide the training resources that the industry require.
Michaels passion for training within the industry is a reflection of his strategy within Alba Victoria where training and development of our staff is one of the foundation stones of our success.
All new members of staff undergo an intensive Induction Training Schedule, derived from our fully integrated Quality and Health & Safety systems, which deals with all aspects of cleaning including COSHH, Manual Handling, Health & Safety etc.
This training is ongoing and reviewed at regular intervals.
We strive to achieve Team Building skills and our managers and supervisors are normally promoted from within. All our supervisors have had first hand site cleaning experience and are able to graduate to Site Managers, Area and Regional Managers thereafter.
Individual specialist training in First Aid, Task and Product Risk Assessments, IPAF. CSCS etc., are carried out as and when required.
